I was in the class of 1981, so this review will be irrelevant for today's age. But the time I spent at the old High School on Niles Road was wonderful. I was totally prepared for college, and the time I spent there was great. It was a high quality education with great teachers. I am proud to be an alumni of FHS.

I can't wait until I get in that school but next year I heard that it would no longer be there. They're building a new high school that's across the street and it's gonna be named compass high school. Right behind that there building a new freshman school called compass freshman school. I always wondered what the 3rd floor would look like but I guess I'll never know what it looks like. Fairfield Middle school will soon be creekside middle. The Fairfield intermediate school will soon be crossroads middle school and I heard that if you live in the township, you'll go to crossroads next year, and if you live in the city, you'll be going to creekside next year. I always wondered how they will split up and I wondered what school I would be going next year. Now I do know. Fairfield freshman and central elementary are both at the same parking lot. But they're destroying both buildings next year. Fairfield central emementary will be closer to the football field. They'll still have Fairfield North, East, South, West, and Central. The only elementary school that's gonna change is Central. The township and city people will meet again at freshman year. I hope I'll like the new schools and I hope you do too.

Litteraly a suicide or child sex scandal every year or both

Has one of the best music departments for a high school, in my opinion.

I went to Fairfield, kindergarten through senior year ! I absolutely loved it. I had the best childhood and teenage years that anyone could ask for! I was truly so lucky. Not that this matters really but i'm gay and I honestly never had any problems with bullying either, teachers would never let people get away with it. I knew in 7th grade and came out then, and I had a few issues with immature kids that maybe didn't come from good homes but other than that I made it clear that I was comfortable with who I was and my peers accepted me and by the time I graduated in 2009 I was one of the more popular students. I was also very involved with the music program with musicals and show choir and we were always so good. I got a really good education there and cherish every single year that I attended. I've heard that it has gone down hill a little since I graduated in '09 but I still hear great things. Most of my family lives in Fairfield and has graduated from there. I miss it dearly.
